School Meeting December 7: Human Rights Watch


The Tuesday, December 7 School Meeting featured Carol Bogart of Human Rights Watch.  Ms. Bogart discussed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and overviewed her organization's mission of focusing upon research, writing reports of violations of human rights in each country around the world, and of publicizing these research documents with the goal of making the abuses stop.

School Meeting October 26: Teen Health and Wellness


The October 26 school meeting included a number of discussion topics that addressed teen health and wellness.  Among the library's bounty of information on this subject is the Teen Health & Wellness database which provides information on alcohol, nutrition, mental health, sexual identity and orientation, and hotlines for teens in crisis.
