October Library Question of the Month

This 1969 DA alumnus is the author of two books* that focus upon a famous Boston family. Best known as a broadcast journalist, he also portrayed himself in the film “A Civil Action”. Who is he?

Good news! Both of this author's books and the film “A Civil Action” are available for loan from our Boyden Library.

Be sure to drop off your answer in the Question of the Month Box located at the entrance of our library. Good luck!

From all the correct answers, a winner will be drawn and a prize will be awarded on October 31, 2011.

Congratulations to Hadley Newton, our September Library Question of the Month Winner. Hadley correctly answered the question, “Who wrote ... "I'm as corny as Kansas in August ..." ?

The Answer: Oscar Hammerstein II ( 1895–1960). Hammerstein was an American songwriter who wrote the above lyrics for “A Wonderful Guy” one of the songs in the musical South Pacific.

The Library received 2 correct answers and randomly selected our winner by lottery. Thank you to everyone who participated.
